MISSION

GRACELIFE Pentecostal Church is a multi-church. Meaning we are multi-ethnic, multi-generational, multi-campus, and multi-plying. Our mission is to be a place to LOVE, LEARN, LIVE, and LEAD.

We are a church with a LOVE for God and people. Through biblical teaching and preaching from God’s Word, we LEARN about God and make Him known to others. We are called to LIVE the Christian life with purpose and passion. We believe we must LEAD ourselves into personal relationship with God, and then lead others to Him.  Our assignment is to plant and grow other GRACELIFE churches that will also LOVELEARNLIVE, and LEAD in their communities.

The salvation message we preach is based upon the original salvation message, preached by the original church, in the book of Acts. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

OUR PASTOR

Welcome to GRACELIFE Pentecostal Church! We would love the opportunity to meet you in person to share more of our story with you and hear your story as well. The following is just a little bit of our journey that led us to Memphis.

In April 2013, God called us to pastor here in Memphis, Tennessee.  My wife, Stephany, is a California girl, and our four children—Zakery, Zarisa, Zayne and Zyan—were also born in California, which is where we spent seventeen years of our pastoral ministry.

We love that our story began in Memphis and that God has, all these years later, led us here to minister.  We feel that we are here by God’s divine appointment, and God has given us a love, vision, burden, and mission to reach and affect our city and surrounding communities.

We invite you to attend one of our dynamic worship services and experience for yourself what God is doing here. Over the past few years, God has helped us to assemble a team of leaders that have caught a vision and burden for Memphis, and we feel that there is no better time than now to be a part of what God has started and will continue to do at GRACELIFE Pentecostal Church.

Blessings,

Pastor Bill Parkey

WHAT WE BELIEVE

_DSC0272.jpg

GRACELIFE is a Bible-based church. We are Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on explicit passages of the Bible or on biblical principles. Based on Scripture, we believe the following . . .

About the Bible
The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

About God
There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16).

About Sin and Salvation
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).

About the Gospel
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4).

About Christian Living
As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10).

About the Future
Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11 15).
